Coursera, Google Brain co-founder launches new venture with Foxconn to bring AI to factories

Google Brain co-founder Andrew Ng launched a new venture with Apple manufacturing partner Foxconn this week to bring artificial intelligence to factories.

Ng’s has not yet accepted outside capital, but investors have shown interest, according to Reuters. Foxconn, best known for assembling iPhones, is’s first strategic partner and has been working with Ng’s company since July.
