Major Brands and Schlafly end distribution agreement after 17 years

Major Brands will no longer distribute Schlafly Beer in the state of Missouri, after a 17-year relationship.

St. Louis’ largest craft brewery on Monday said it is partnering with eight other wholesalers to distribute its beer in Missouri, including Summit Distributing, which carries Miller products. It was one of Schlafly’s earliest distributers, and it will handle the St. Louis region and surrounding areas. Summit made about $91 million in revenue last year, according to Business Journal research.
