The alert was posted July 2, 2026, and the FDA recall index still lists it as current.

The product was distributed through select ALDI stores in 20 jurisdictions: Connecticut, Washington, D.C., Delaware, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Vermont and West Virginia. No illnesses have been reported to date.

What consumers should do

Anyone who bought the product should not eat it if they have a fish allergy. FDA says consumers should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund, and ALDI’s product recalls page also lists the July 2 notice.
