What the program offers

Trine says the DBA is designed for professionals who want to strengthen leadership, strategy, decision-making and applied research skills. The program includes five tracks: technology management, operations management, business analytics, public administration and healthcare administration.

Coursework covers leadership, business strategy, executive communication, artificial intelligence, analytics and organizational decision-making. Students also choose an applied research topic tied to a real business or organizational challenge.

Why it matters locally

Because the degree is online, nearby residents can pursue advanced business study without moving or building a schedule around regular campus classes. Trine also says students who completed a master’s program there may apply up to 12 credits toward the DBA.

New cohorts start every eight weeks, so the program has a recurring intake rather than a once-a-year launch cycle.
