Fort Collins, CO — February 3, 2026 — A Fort Collins police SUV rolled onto its roof following a collision at South Lemay Avenue and East Mulberry Street, injuring both the officer and the driver of the other vehicle. The officer was responding to an emergency call with lights and sirens activated when the crash occurred. Both individuals sustained minor injuries. The collision took place around 9 a.m. at the intersection of South Lemay Avenue and East Mulberry Street. The police SUV, driven by a Fort Collins Police Corporal, was traveling northbound with emergency lights and sirens on. The vehicle collided with a northbound Honda Accord at the intersection, causing the police SUV to roll and come to rest on its roof. Both the officer and the driver of the Honda Accord were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries.
