Instead of stopping, the suspect fled on an electric bike, weaving through surface streets and briefly entering Interstate 805. Officers coordinated across city lines before taking him into custody near Mount Hope Cemetery about 30 minutes later. Police said no injuries were reported, and the arrest concluded without further incident.
