A 16-year-old girl has died following a late-night single-vehicle crash near Williams Field Road and Gilbert Road, police said.
The collision happened just after 10 p.m. when a car carrying five teenagers slammed into a tree. Emergency crews rushed the teens to the hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities confirmed that the 16-year-old girl later died from her injuries. Two other teens remain hospitalized in serious condition, while another was treated for minor injuries.
