A large storm complex that swept across parts of the Midwest and Ohio Valley earlier this week has officially dissipated as of March 19. The system brought heavy rain and strong winds to portions of the region before clearing out just in time for the weekend. While Columbus avoided the worst of it, the soggy stretch served as a reminder that March weather can still pack a punch.

March Madness Arrives in Columbus

Ohio State women’s basketball is back on its home court Saturday morning, hosting Howard in the Buckeyes’ first NCAA Tournament game of the year. The matchup is expected to draw a strong crowd as Columbus continues to build its reputation as a hub for major women’s sporting events.
