Bellaire fuel watch: gas near $4.69, diesel near $6.09 as prices ease
Regular gas in AAA’s latest Traverse City-area check is $4.513 a gallon, down from $4.550 yesterday and $4.633 a week ago. Diesel is $5.934, flat from yesterday and down from $6.055 last week.
For a local retail snapshot, the Marathon at 611 E Cayuga St in Bellaire is listed at $4.69 for regular and $6.09 for diesel. That puts the station above the Traverse City average on both fuels: about 18 cents higher for regular and about 16 cents higher for diesel.
Bellaire sits in Antrim County, and Census Bureau maps place Antrim in the Traverse City micropolitan area, so the AAA Traverse City row is a sensible regional benchmark. The Bellaire listing is also above Michigan’s $4.414 regular and $5.885 diesel averages, and above U.S. averages of $4.356 regular and $5.492 diesel.
For commuters, households, contractors, delivery drivers, restaurant operators, weekend travelers, and small businesses, the practical takeaway is simple: the trend is better than it was last week, but fuel still costs enough that a few cents per gallon can add up fast across repeated fill-ups.
