Broadway Ave closure shift on Evansville’s west side as EWSU shifts water work

Evansville drivers on the west side should re-check their routes this week: Evansville Water and Sewer Utility (EWSU) is shifting an ongoing water-line work closure on Broadway, including a segment that is scheduled to reopen starting Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

EWSU says the work is part of its Water Line Investigation Project, and it notes that road impacts can move as crews relocate equipment and complete steps of construction.
