Lynwood plans National Night Out at City Hall on August 4

Lynwood is scheduled to host its 2026 National Night Out program Tuesday, August 4, at City Hall and its front lawn, with a free evening of public-safety information, family activities and community resources.

The city’s July 2026 newsletter forecasts more than 2,000 residents will attend. That is an estimate, not a confirmed turnout, but it signals the possibility of a large gathering at 11330 Bullis Road.

County agencies and family activities planned

The published program includes displays from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The city notice also lists vehicle displays, community information booths, giveaways, safety resources and live entertainment.

Recurring public-safety program

Lynwood’s adopted fiscal 2025-27 budget documents an earlier National Night Out at City Hall with more than 500 attendees and a partnership involving the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department. That reference provides local continuity but does not establish the 2026 schedule or turnout.
