Goodman connected to McDonald County’s Aug. 4 primary as November election awaits
McDonald County completed its 2026 primary election Aug. 4, beginning the process that will determine which candidates advance to the Nov. 3 general election. The county says winners of the August primary move on to the November ballot.
Goodman is connected to the countywide election through the candidate filing materials. The county’s list includes a Goodman resident who filed for McDonald County recorder of deeds. The filing document identified Aug. 4 as election day and listed polling hours from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
McDonald County’s published election materials do not identify complete Goodman precinct results or final totals for the county contests, so no primary winner is identified here. The next known county election date is Nov. 3, when the general election is scheduled.
A separate Town of Goodman notice lists an Aug. 11 partisan primary on the town’s remaining 2026 voting schedule. It identifies the Goodman Municipal Building, 506 Mill Street, as the polling location and lists hours of 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. That notice is separate from the county’s Aug. 4 primary materials.
