The City of Worlandโs online surplus-property auction is scheduled to run Oct. 21 through Nov. 8, 2026, with a listed 5 p.m. start on Oct. 21. As of Oct. 27, the scheduled opening date has passed, but the published schedule does not establish whether bidding opened or whether any item received bids or sold.
The city said items would be posted on Public Surplus and added through Oct. 23. Its page lists a Dodge Charger, a John Deere backhoe, a water truck, mowing equipment, tools, equipment and materials. The Oct. 6 council minutes, reproduced by NoticeRegistry, describe the auction as council-approved and mention an old police car, smaller equipment and an old water truck.
For prospective bidders, Nov. 8 is the listed closing date. The city says items are sold as-is and where-is, without warranty or guarantee; a reserve or minimum bid may apply. It also reserves the right to remove an item or cancel the auction without prior notice. Prospective bidders can use the cityโs auction page to reach Public Surplus and check listings and terms.
