Voters in the Whitewater School District rejected a proposal for $22 million over four years for school operations Tuesday, according to WISN/Hearst’s complete unofficial returns. The measure received 3,398 yes votes (47.45%) and 3,763 no votes (52.55%).
All 11 reporting precincts were counted in the 11:14 p.m. Central snapshot, with 7,161 votes cast on the question. The no side led by 365 votes.
