Miami-Dade schedules September chlorine conversion for drinking-water system
Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department will temporarily use free chlorine instead of chloramine from Sept. 21 through Oct. 4. The county says some customers may notice a chlorine taste or odor, but it does not expect adverse health effects.
