M-28 Reconstruction Through Ontonagon Area Set for 2026
MDOT awarded an $8.808 million contract to resurface and repair 21.45 miles of M-28 from the Houghton/Ontonagon county line to Leo South Road. The work will bring drainage and safety improvements but also active work zones, traffic controls and changing access.
