Elbow Road bridge reopens ahead of schedule, but lane controls remain
The Elbow Road bridge near the Chesapeake–Virginia Beach line reopened July 2, about six weeks ahead of schedule. Intermittent lane closures and flagging may continue through approximately October 2026.
