Georgia law requiring nonpartisan metro Atlanta races faces constitutional challenge
A Georgia law signed by Gov. Brian Kemp requires nonpartisan elections for most local officials in Fulton, DeKalb, Gwinnett, Cobb and Clayton counties. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has threatened a constitutional lawsuit.
