Gov. Larry Rhoden and businessman Toby Doeden faced off July 28 after neither cleared South Dakota’s 35% threshold in the June primary. Official final results were not included in the approved source packet.
Unofficial results show Larry Rhoden defeating Toby Doeden in South Dakota’s first gubernatorial runoff. He will face Democrat Dan Ahlers on November 3 for a full four-year term.
