Magnitude 3.2 Earthquake Strikes Near Bluffdale

On February 3, 2026, a magnitude 3.2 earthquake occurred near Bluffdale, Utah, around 5 a.m. local time. Residents throughout the southern Salt Lake Valley and northern Utah County reported feeling the tremor. Fortunately, no significant damage or injuries have been reported. The University of Utah Seismograph Stations noted that such events are common in the region, with approximately eight earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater occurring annually within 16 miles of the epicenter.
