The incident resulted in significant structural damage to both residences, displacing over a dozen residents. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the truck’s runaway incident. The North County Fire Authority responded promptly, and Pacific Gas and Electric crews were on-site to shut off utilities to the affected homes. Crews worked for hours to transfer the cement to another truck to extricate the vehicle from the building.
