On February 23, 2025, a devastating incident occurred in the 900 block of North Lee Street, where four individuals were found dead in a residence. The victims were identified as Christopher Simmons, 33, who died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, his girlfriend Chelsea Lusher, 31, her 13-year-old son Armoni Bennett, and her friend Trina Hollings, 31. The community was deeply affected, leading to a candlelight vigil on February 24, 2025, where family and friends gathered to honor the victims and share memories. Arrest in Child Pornography Case
