Shooting at Carson Bank

On Monday, February 2, 2026, an attempted robbery at a Bank of America branch in Carson resulted in the shooting of an armored truck driver. The incident occurred around 11:20 a.m. at the branch located in the 23800 block of South Vermont Avenue. The driver was approached by two masked individuals who fired at him as he was returning to his truck. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital. The suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of money. House Party Shooting

In a separate incident, a shooting at a house party in Carson left eight people injured, two critically. The event took place on Abila Street, where a large gathering turned violent.
