The city’s 2026 City Council and work session schedules are now posted, confirming regular council meetings on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at the Governance Center on Brandt Pike.

Work sessions typically take place earlier in the month and focus on discussion items before formal votes. Meetings remain open to the public and continue to be streamed and recorded for residents who can’t attend in person.

Fire Division Events and Community Outreach

The Huber Heights Fire Division updated its February calendar this week, highlighting both safety programs and community-focused events. One of the key items is the upcoming “Cups and Conversation” gathering, part of the city’s quarterly outreach series.

The informal event gives residents a chance to connect with city leadership, including the mayor and city manager, in a relaxed setting. Fire officials are also continuing winter safety education, with reminders about cooking safety, smoke alarms, and carbon monoxide awareness during colder months.

February Closures and City Calendar Notes

City offices will be closed on Monday, February 16, in observance of Presidents’ Day. Essential services such as police and fire response will continue uninterrupted, while administrative offices and records services will resume normal hours the following day.
