Police activity ends safely on Veterans Boulevard
West Fargo police arrested a woman Friday afternoon following a reported shooting and vehicle chase that ended along Veterans Boulevard near 32nd Avenue South. Officers responded to reports of shots fired at a residential location, where multiple rounds struck two unoccupied vehicles.
Police located the suspect vehicle shortly after and attempted a traffic stop. The driver fled, leading officers southbound before the pursuit was ended using a controlled intervention. Authorities say no injuries were reported, and the suspect faces multiple felony charges including reckless endangerment, fleeing law enforcement, and discharging a firearm within city limits.
City meetings and development items updated
The city has posted updated schedules and materials for upcoming boards and commissions. The Planning and Zoning Commission is set to meet on Tuesday, February 10, at City Hall. Agenda packets and past minutes are now available for residents who want to follow development and zoning discussions.
