City Hall & Community Office Hours

Several Watertown city councilors and officials have posted upcoming office hours for early next week, giving residents a chance to raise concerns, ask questions, or simply check in. Multiple office hour sessions are scheduled for Monday, February 9, both during the day and early evening, at City Hall and other local locations.

These sessions are informal and open to the public, and city staff continue to encourage residents to attend in person when possible.

Trash and Recycling Reminders

The city is also reminding residents to keep an eye on the 2026 trash and recycling calendar. With Presidents Day coming up on Monday, February 16, collection that week will be delayed by one day for all neighborhoods.

Officials note that replacement trash and recycling totes remain available through the Department of Public Works, and compost enrollment continues citywide as part of Watertown’s sustainability goals.

Transportation and Neighborhood News

The Watertown Transportation Management Association is continuing preparations for an electric shuttle service planned for the Pleasant Street area. While a firm launch date has not yet been announced, the service is expected to improve short-distance connections for residents, workers, and visitors.

In the meantime, Bluebikes stations and other alternative commuting programs remain active throughout the winter months.
