Clearfield Daily Brief: Police Chase Crash, City Outreach Truck, Local Valentine Push

Clearfield police are investigating a serious multi-vehicle crash that followed a police pursuit earlier this week. Officers say the chase ended when a stolen vehicle ran a red light and collided with several cars at a busy intersection. Four people were taken to area hospitals, including two with critical injuries, while others were treated and released at the scene.

The incident temporarily closed nearby roads as multiple agencies assisted with the investigation. Streets later reopened once evidence collection was completed. Police have not yet released the names of those involved.

The Clearfield Police Department has rolled out a new community outreach truck designed to serve a dual role. City officials say the vehicle can be used for neighborhood events and public safety education, but it is also fully equipped for patrol duty.
