Good morning, Lodi. With no major breaking incidents reported in town over the last two days, today’s update highlights the meetings, services, and programs ahead.

Council and board meetings on deck

The borough has a busy run of public meetings this month. The Executive Council is scheduled to meet on February 10, followed by the Planning Board on February 11. A regular Council meeting is set for February 17, and the Zoning Board is due to meet on February 18.

Sessions are planned for Borough Hall, and residents can review agendas and minutes or watch many of the meetings through the borough’s online streaming portal.

Police department highlights accreditation

The Lodi Police Department is reminding residents that it remains an officially accredited agency, having earned a third re-accreditation through a statewide law enforcement review program. Accreditation requires policies, training, and daily operations to be tested against professional standards, and borough officials say it supports consistent, community-focused policing. Residents are encouraged to report neighborhood concerns promptly and to use non-emergency contacts for quality-of-life issues.

Cleanup, recycling, and Adopt-A-Spot

Public Works is pointing residents toward several tools designed to keep Lodi clean and organized in 2026. The updated recycling schedule for the year is available online, along with rules on how and when to place containers at the curb.

The borough is also promoting its Adopt-A-Spot program, which invites individuals, families, schools, and organizations to commit to maintaining a small area of town at least four times a year. Volunteers receive support from the Clean Communities coordinator, while crews collect bagged litter after each cleanup. For those who prefer digital reminders, a recycling app helps residents check pickup days, look up how to dispose of specific items, and get alerts about schedule changes.
