Fontana gas and diesel still vary by station at 7-Eleven
Fontana’s latest 7-Eleven prices show regular gas from $5.099 to $5.199 and diesel from $6.399 to $6.799, so shop-around pricing still matters.
Fontana drivers are still seeing a clear station-to-station split, and regular gas and diesel are moving on different tracks. On June 20, the current 7-Eleven station pages showed regular from $5.099 to $5.199 across the four tracked locations, while diesel ranged from $6.399 to $6.799. Each page says the prices were updated within 24 hours.
Regular gas: a small spread, but still worth checking
The lowest posted regular price in the sample was $5.099 at 16060 Jurupa Ave. Sierra Lakes was at $5.159, and Citrus Ave and Arrow Blvd were both at $5.199. That is not a citywide average, but it does show that a quick check before you pull in can still save a few cents a gallon.
All four tracked regular prices were below California’s AAA average of $5.592 and well above the national average of $3.951.
Diesel: the bigger swing for work trucks and delivery routes
Diesel shows the clearest reason to compare pumps before stopping. The low end in the tracked sample was $6.399 at 7285 Citrus Ave, followed by $6.499 at 17064 Sierra Lakes Pkwy and $6.579 at 16060 Jurupa Ave. The highest posted diesel price was $6.799 at 18091 Arrow Blvd. A 20-gallon fill-up can differ by about $8 across those prices.
Sierra Lakes is unchanged from the last check on diesel, and Citrus diesel is lower than the June 19 same-site check. For commuters, contractors, delivery drivers, and small businesses, that kind of gap adds up fast.
Even with the local variation, every tracked diesel price was still below California’s AAA average of $6.806. But all of them were well above the national average of $5.062, so shopping around still matters in Fontana.
