Oklahoma City pools change schedules Sunday, August 2

Oklahoma City’s outdoor public-pool schedule changes Sunday, August 2, 2026. Earlywine Family Aquatic Center, Will Rogers Family Aquatic Center and Northeast Community Pool are scheduled to operate from 1 to 6 p.m.

Sunday is the final scheduled day for Northeast Community Pool and the regular Tuesday-through-Sunday season schedule at the two family aquatic centers. Earlywine and Will Rogers are scheduled to continue on weekends only from August 3 through August 30.

Outdoor pools scheduled for Sunday

The following Oklahoma City facilities are scheduled to operate Sunday, August 2, from 1 to 6 p.m.:

• Earlywine Family Aquatic Center, 3101 SW 119th St.
• Will Rogers Family Aquatic Center, 3201 N. Grand Blvd.
• Northeast Community Pool, 1226 NE 33rd St.

Residents should verify operations before traveling because weather, maintenance, safety conditions or capacity can affect availability.

What changes Monday, August 3

Beginning Monday, August 3, Earlywine and Will Rogers are scheduled to operate on weekends only, from 1 to 6 p.m., through Sunday, August 30. Weekday service at those facilities is not listed after August 2.

Northeast Community Pool is not included in the weekend continuation schedule. The city’s 2026 schedule does not indicate that the pool will reopen or continue operating after August 2.

Indoor swimming option

Oklahoma City identifies Willa D. Johnson Recreation Center as an indoor swimming alternative. Residents should check the recreation center’s current posted schedule and capacity before leaving, since availability can vary.

Families should also confirm operating status and admission details before making a trip. The seasonal schedule remains subject to changes caused by weather, maintenance, safety or capacity.
