Amazon-listed pressure washers recalled over shock risks
Two electric pressure washers sold through Amazon.com were recalled on August 27, 2026, after the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission warned that they lack protections against shock and electrocution.
The recalls cover about 300 YERYORK units and about 128 Steelite units. The CPSC said no injuries were reported in either notice. Consumers who own a matching product should stop using it immediately, unplug it and follow the listed companies’ refund instructions.
YERYORK pressure washers
The YERYORK pressure washers are green and black and carry model number YE-006. The recall applies only to units without an integral ground-fault circuit-interrupter, or GFCI.
About 300 units were sold on Amazon.com from March 2025 through June 2026 for about $120. The CPSC said the product lacks an integral GFCI and an adequate-length power cord, creating serious risks of shock and electrocution.

Steelite pressure washers
The Steelite pressure washers are red and black and carry model number AZ6041VC. The model number is printed on a label on the back of the unit.
About 128 units were sold on Amazon.com from April through June 2026 for between $45 and $92. The CPSC said these units also lack an integral GFCI and an adequate-length power cord, creating risks of shock and electrocution. No injuries were reported.
Consumers with the Steelite model should contact Longer Technology, doing business as Longer 3D, at 2991426091@qq.com to arrange a full refund.
What recalled-product owners should do
Stop using a matching pressure washer immediately. Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet before carrying out any recall instructions.
The remedy instructions require consumers to destroy the unplugged pressure washer by cutting its power cord in half, take a photograph showing the destroyed product and model information where requested, and submit the requested information to obtain a full refund. Consumers should then dispose of the destroyed pressure washer according to local disposal rules.
Retain purchase information and the destruction photo until the refund process is complete. Do not cut the cord while the unit is connected to power.
How to check whether a unit is covered
Check the brand and model number rather than relying only on the product’s appearance. YERYORK units covered by the notice are model YE-006, while Steelite units are model AZ6041VC.
If a pressure washer does not match those details, do not assume it is included in these recalls. Consumers can search the CPSC recalls database or SaferProducts.gov for other notices and should follow any separate instructions listed for their product.
The CPSC notices do not say how many recalled units remain in consumers’ homes or whether every marketplace listing has been removed. The notices identify YERYORK and Longer Technology, doing business as Longer 3D, as the companies tied to the respective recalls; Amazon is identified as the sales channel.
