Twin Falls County sets public vote-tally test for Oct. 8
Twin Falls County’s public vote-tally system test is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, in the first-floor Election Counting room at Twin Falls County West, 630 Addison Ave. West. The county says the logic-and-accuracy test is intended to demonstrate that the system accurately reads and tabulates votes. Members of the public may attend, observe the procedures and ask questions, KMVT reports.
The test is scheduled ahead of the Nov. 3, 2026, general election. The county lists early voting from Oct. 13 through Oct. 30, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Twin Falls County West. That puts the public test five days before early voting begins.
The county lists Oct. 23 as the preregistration deadline. KMVT reports that eligible voters may also register and vote during early voting or on Election Day, so Oct. 23 is not the only registration option described. The county notice cites Idaho Code §34-2426 for the test.
