Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin and University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton Chancellor Lisa Willenberg launched the One Pill Can Kill initiative at UACCM on Oct. 19, 2026, Griffinโs office said. The office described UACCM as the initiativeโs 14th Arkansas college campus and third community college.
The attorney generalโs office said student leaders received training after the launch on the dangers of illicit opioids, recognizing overdose signs and deploying naloxone. The office framed the initiative as part of its effort to address opioid overdoses.
Griffin said campuses remained to be visited.
