Democrat Sean McCann defeated Republican Rep. Bill Huizenga in Michigan's 4th Congressional District, according to Decision Desk HQ. The result flips a Republican-held seat to Democrats.
McCann had 186,195 votes (50.14%) to Huizenga's 179,484 (48.33%), a margin of 6,711 votes, with more than 95% of the expected vote reported. Green Party candidate Shafina Barnett had 5,695 votes (1.53%). The totals remain unofficial.
