Burr Ridge fuel watch: Speedway regular stays under $4, diesel near $6.19
Burr Ridge drivers still have a sub-$4 regular-gas option at the Speedway on Kingery Highway: $3.939, or about $3.94. Diesel is much higher at $6.19, keeping the local fuel gap wide for trucks and work vehicles.
That split matters. Regular gas is the everyday commuter fuel. Diesel is the bill contractors, delivery fleets, restaurant operators, and other fuel-heavy users feel first. Compared with the last check, Burr Ridgeโs regular price is still hanging below $4, while diesel remains near $6.19.
How Burr Ridge compares with Illinois and the U.S.
AAA Illinois showed a state average of $4.214 for regular gasoline and $5.301 for diesel on June 20. EIAโs latest weekly U.S. update, released June 16, put the national averages at $4.052 for regular and $5.059 for diesel. That means the Burr Ridge Speedway regular price sits below both benchmarks, while diesel is still above them.
Fuel prices can vary by station, even along the same corridor, so it still pays to compare before filling up. That matters whether youโre commuting, making job-site runs, or heading out for weekend travel.
