Durham County launches PayDCoNC for online property-tax payments

Durham County has launched PayDCoNC, a new digital platform for paying Durham County property taxes online. The county announced the launch on July 1, 2026, and it is available now at pay.dconc.gov.

Durham County says the platform is meant to help residents manage and pay property-tax bills digitally—including paying past-due balances—without an office visit or phone call.

What PayDCoNC is

PayDCoNC is the county’s web-based portal for online property-tax payments. The county says residents can pay from a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop, either as a guest or by creating a free account to store payment methods and view payment history.

Key features for residents: scheduled and partial payments

Durham County says the platform includes:

Durham County’s announcement ties PayDCoNC to the 2026 property-tax timeline, saying 2026 property taxes are due September 1. The county also states residents have until January 5 to pay “without interest.”
