Kennesaw pump prices: sub-$3 regular at some stations, diesel in the $3s
Kennesaw station pages still show regular under $3 at some pumps and diesel in the $3s, even as AAA’s Georgia and Atlanta benchmarks sit much higher.
On May 8, AAA put Georgia regular gas at $4.093 a gallon, down a fraction from yesterday, and diesel at $5.189, also slightly lower. Atlanta was a bit higher at $4.197 for regular and $5.232 for diesel. In Kennesaw, the local picture is still cheaper than those benchmarks.
Station pages in town still show regular under $3 at a few pumps, including $2.66 at RaceTrac on Bells Ferry Road and $2.94 at CITGO on Old 41 Highway. That is not a citywide average, just a sampled snapshot, but it is enough to matter for commuters and households trying to keep fill-up costs down.
Diesel is more mixed. The same local pages show $3.49 at the Bells Ferry RaceTrac and $3.89 at a Shell on Jiles Road. That is still below AAA’s Georgia average, but the spread is big enough to matter for contractors, delivery drivers, restaurants, and small fleets that burn through fuel fast.
If you are filling up around Kennesaw, share the highest and lowest pump prices you are seeing, and note the station if you can.
