In AAA’s latest New Jersey price check, both fuels are higher than that local snapshot, which makes this station a cheaper stop than the state average in this one current reading.
For regular gasoline, AAA put New Jersey at $4.520 on May 12, down 0.9 cent from yesterday’s $4.529. The national regular average was $4.504. That puts the Route 10 price about 16 cents below the New Jersey average and about 15 cents below the U.S. average in this snapshot.
Diesel is moving differently, but the local gap is still meaningful. AAA listed New Jersey diesel at $5.632 on May 12, essentially flat from $5.630 the day before. The national diesel average was $5.644. The Succasunna station is about 27 cents under the New Jersey average and about 29 cents below the U.S. average. For contractors, landscapers, delivery drivers, and anyone running a diesel pickup or van, that difference can add up over a week of work.
