Como beat Manchester United 4-1 in the Champions League league phase on Oct. 21, 2026, at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia in Como. Nico Paz scored twice and assisted Tasos Douvikas, directly contributing to three of Como’s four goals. Douvikas scored in the 49th minute, Paz in the 57th and Jacobo Ramón in the 76th; Joshua Zirkzee scored United’s goal in added time.
Paz was involved in 75% of Como’s scoring: three goal contributions divided by the team’s four goals. The win left United on three points after its first three league-phase matches, an average of one point per match. Its seven-match winless run spans all competitions and consists of three draws and four defeats.
Did the loss eliminate United? No. The Champions League league phase was still underway, so the defeat did not eliminate the club. United’s three-point total covers league-phase matches; the seven-game winless run includes all competitions.
