Athens Transit survey closes July 31 for rider feedback
Athens-Clarke County Transit riders have through July 31 to share voluntary feedback that may help inform future routes, schedules and service.
Athens-Clarke County Transit is asking riders to share their experiences and recommendations before its customer service survey closes Friday, July 31, 2026. As of Tuesday, July 28, three days remain for responses.
The survey is intended to gather voluntary feedback that may help inform future discussions about transit routes, schedules and the overall rider experience. Athens-Clarke County says riders can describe their experiences with the system and offer recommendations for possible service improvements.
How riders can participate
Riders can find the questionnaire through the Athens-Clarke County governmentโs official Surveys page or use the direct survey form listed there. Participation is voluntary.
Participants may also choose to enter a gift-card drawing. The drawing is optional and separate from the surveyโs purpose of collecting rider input.
What the survey does โ and does not โ mean
The survey is an input-gathering effort, not an announcement of a new route or schedule. Athens-Clarke County has not announced that a specific service change has been approved, funded or guaranteed because of the questionnaire.
Instead, the survey gives riders a way to identify current concerns and suggest issues transit officials may consider. The survey notice does not say that responses will directly determine future service changes.
Current Athens Transit context
Athens-Clarke County Transit provides fare-free service through 16 routes serving more than 500 stops, according to the systemโs rider information page. The network is used for work, school, appointments, shopping and other daily trips.
For current route information, stop locations, schedules and service updates, riders should use Athens Transitโs official trip-planning tools and MyStop information. Those resources provide information about existing service and are separate from the customer service survey.
The countyโs survey announcement was posted July 1, 2026, and the official listing shows that the questionnaire remains open through July 31. Riders who want to share feedback should submit responses before the deadline.
