On January 28, at approximately 11:20 p.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 1900 block of North Dukeland Street for a report of a shooting. Officers located a 14-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the finger. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
