2026 Winter Festival at Franklin Park
Boston’s Franklin Park is set to host the 2026 Winter Festival on Saturday, February 21, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event, organized by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with the Franklin Park Coalition, offers a variety of family-friendly activities, including a synthetic ice skating rink, snowman igloo bounce house, obstacle course, and musical instrument ‘petting zoo’ by the Boston Music Group. Attendees can also enjoy the New England Revolution interactive soccer exhibit and meet the horses of the Boston Park Rangers Mounted Unit. Boston Lunar New Year Festival Gala
The Boston Lunar New Year Festival Gala is scheduled for Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Boston City Hall. This marks the third official celebration of the Lunar New Year since its recognition as a legal holiday in Boston in 2023. The gala will feature traditional dragon and lion dances, classical music, Chinese opera, and cultural dances performed by local and professional artists.
