Bristol Tennessee City Schools remained closed Thursday, February 5, as districts across the Tri-Cities adjusted schedules in response to lingering snow, ice, and bitter wind chills. Neighboring systems mixed full closures with two-hour delays, and families are being urged to keep watching for late changes as the pattern slowly eases.

As of this morning there are no new closure announcements specific to Bristol for next week, but school officials continue to remind parents to monitor district messages in case conditions worsen again.

Downtown and around town: a packed Saturday

After days of cautious travel, Bristol’s weekend calendar is crowded.
