Crandall ISD schedules Aug. 17 budget and tax-rate adoption as arts-center construction begins

Crandall ISD has scheduled a public hearing and formal adoption of its 2026 budget and tax rate for Aug. 17, as construction moves forward on a new performing arts center at Crandall High School.

The district’s Aug. 11 board brief reports that construction has begun on the Crandall High School Performing Arts Center. The project is expected to be completed in December 2026, placing the anticipated finish after the 2026-27 school year begins.
