Currituck County Strategic Plan survey launched; Moyock residents can weigh in
Moyock NC — Complete Currituck County’s online Strategic Plan survey (launched June 30) and weigh in on housing, infrastructure, economic development, and quality of life.
Currituck County has launched a new online survey for its Strategic Plan process, and Moyock residents can still take part—even if they did not attend one of the earlier community meetings.
Launched June 30: online input for all Currituck County residents
In a news release dated June 30, 2026, Currituck County said the Board of Commissioners has completed a series of Community Meetings and that citizens now have an online option to provide feedback and express concerns. The county says all county residents are welcome to complete the survey, regardless of whether they attended a meeting.
The county says the community meetings addressed the main points of the Strategic Plan, and that the online survey is another way to give input while the Strategic Plan is being developed.
What the survey asks Moyock residents to weigh in on
The county says the community meetings—and the online survey questions—focus on four Strategic Plan areas:
- Housing
- Infrastructure
- Economic development
- Quality of life
The county also says the online survey includes an additional section where respondents can list other concerns and topics of interest.
Why Moyock residents are part of this process
During the in-person Strategic Plan series, the county held meetings at multiple locations, including Moyock Middle School. The County’s June 15 update on the final session also notes that each meeting includes a review of the Strategic Planning process and that residents are asked to provide feedback.
How to take the survey—and what to watch next
Currituck County’s June 30 release directs residents to complete a “Citizen Online Survey,” hosted through Qualtrics.
Final meeting reminder (if you want to attend in person)
If you prefer in-person input, the county says the final Community Meeting session is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23, at:
- Knotts Island Elementary School
- 6:00 pm
Questions you can use to plan your answers
Before filling out the form, consider what would make daily life better or easier in your part of Currituck County over the next few years—such as which housing options are most needed, what infrastructure gaps should be addressed first, what economic development could help local workers and small businesses, and which quality-of-life issues deserve priority.
