Don’t miss the Aug. 4 primary: Salem-area voter registration deadline

Salem-area voters are being reminded that Wednesday, July 8, 2026 was the last day to register (or update an existing registration) for Missouri’s Tuesday, August 4, 2026 primary.

Step 2: Know the registration/update rule (mail postmark matters)

For Missouri voter registration, the Secretary of State notes that your registration form must be POSTMARKED by the 4th Wednesday before the election. For the Aug. 4, 2026 primary, that postmark deadline was Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
