Dryden Township Voters Face Aug. 4 Primary; Early Voting Ends Aug. 2

Dryden Township voters have several remaining ways to cast a ballot before Michigan’s Aug. 4, 2026, primary election. Early voting continues through Sunday, Aug. 2, while absentee-ballot and registration deadlines extend into Monday and Election Day.

Where Dryden Township voters can vote

The township’s polling and early-voting location is 4849 Dryden Road. On Tuesday, Aug. 4, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to the Dryden Township election notice.

Early voting for the primary is available at the same address from Saturday, July 25, through Sunday, Aug. 2. The posted hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. Sunday, Aug. 2, is the last day for early voting.

Absentee-ballot deadlines

Michigan Secretary of State guidance separates the deadline to apply for an absentee ballot from the deadline to return it.

• Monday, Aug. 3, by 4 p.m.: Registered voters may apply for an absentee ballot in person at their local clerk’s office.
• Tuesday, Aug. 4, by 8 p.m.: A completed absentee ballot must be received by the local clerk by this time to be counted. A postmark alone does not guarantee that a ballot will arrive before the deadline.

Registration and address updates remain available

Eligible residents who need to register to vote or update their address may do so in person at the township clerk’s office through 8 p.m. on Aug. 4. That same-day registration window is a statewide Michigan rule and is separate from the Aug. 3 deadline for registered voters applying in person for an absentee ballot.
