El Paso-Gridley sets Aug. 4 and 6 registration dates

El Paso-Gridley Community Unit School District 11 has posted its 2026-27 registration guidance ahead of the new school year. The first walk-in registration sessions are scheduled for Tuesday, August 4, 2026, followed by additional grade-level sessions on Thursday, August 6.

The district serves El Paso and surrounding communities, with schools in both El Paso and Gridley. Returning students must register online through Skyward Family Access. Families with questions about accessing Skyward can contact the district office at 309-527-4410.

Walk-in registration schedule

New students must attend walk-in registration at the school they will attend. The district’s posted schedule is:

• Tuesday, August 4, 2026: Prekindergarten through second grade at Jefferson Park Elementary School in El Paso, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, August 4, 2026: Grades 9-12 at El Paso-Gridley High School in El Paso, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Thursday, August 6, 2026: Grades 3-4 at Centennial School in El Paso, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Thursday, August 6, 2026: Grades 5-8 at El Paso-Gridley Middle School in Gridley, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The district’s school listings identify Jefferson Park as serving prekindergarten through grade 2, Centennial as serving grades 3-4, El Paso-Gridley Middle School as serving grades 5-8, and El Paso-Gridley High School as serving grades 9-12.

New high-school students need an athletics appointment

New high-school students planning to participate in football, volleyball, cross country, golf or marching band must arrange a registration appointment before August 4 in order to participate in practices. The district directs families to contact Stephanie Hiles to schedule the appointment.

This appointment requirement applies to new students and is separate from the general walk-in registration schedule. The district’s registration page does not describe August 4 or August 6 as enrollment deadlines.
