Fatal Crash After Police Chase

Fountain Valley police are continuing their investigation into a deadly crash that followed a brief high-speed chase late this week. The collision occurred at the intersection of Ellis Avenue and Magnolia Street after a suspect ran a red light.

A woman riding in another vehicle was pronounced dead while being transported to the hospital. Several others were injured, and the suspect was taken into custody. Authorities say the suspect was wanted in connection with an earlier domestic violence investigation.
