Grand Island water-meter replacements to begin in July and continue through 2027

The Town of Grand Island plans to begin replacing water meters across the island in July 2026, launching a project expected to continue for approximately one year, through about July 2027.

The town says the replacement is required because the existing meters will no longer be operable. VEPO Metering is performing the work for the Town of Grand Island water system.
